July 1st: According to insider Woj, Klay Thompson is set to have meetings with the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Philadelphia 76ers today.
Per Woj’s report, the Golden State Warriors will discuss a sign-and-trade scenario with Thompson, which could secure a larger contract for him.
Last season, Thompson played in 77 regular-season games for the Warriors, averaging 17.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists on a 43.2% shooting clip.
