On June 27th, according to a post by media personality “San Tu Daitouci,” the Australian Basketball Federation unveiled its roster for the July 2nd to 5th Olympic preparation games against China’s men’s and women’s teams. As previously mentioned, the men’s team will feature their Olympic squad, including players like Patty Mills, Josh Giddey, Dyson Daniels, among others. The women’s team, however, will be led by assistant coach Chambers, with seven players still playing in the WNBA unable to join. Out of the women’s team’s 12 members, ten have already participated in preparatory games in China. This series includes five-on-five, three-on-three, and wheelchair basketball matches for both genders. Australia’s five-on-five teams will face off against China’s, while China’s three-on-three teams consist of U-series players. The wheelchair basketball matches will pit Japan’s men’s and women’s teams against China’s.
