Recently, former world champion at super lightweight and welterweight, British boxer Ricky Hatton (45-3, 32 KOs), expressed his belief that Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) will overcome IBF heavyweight titlist Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs) to become a three-time heavyweight world champion.
Ricky Hatton said, “I believe Joshua will defeat Dubois. He’s the bigger man. Of course, as a fighter, Dubois is a beast as well. But Joshua has found his confidence back, and so has Dubois; he’s had some good performances lately. It’s the perfect time for this fight, both boxers are sharp, but I think Joshua has a more varied arsenal in his locker.”
Dubois also boasts an impressive KO rate, having stopped 20 of his 21 opponents. His two losses came against Joyce and Usyk. In comparison, Joshua is quicker, more technically skilled, and more experienced, currently being favored at odds of 1-4.
