According to a report by Bild’s Bayern Munich correspondent, Yuto Nagatomo has undergone another surgery on his metatarsal and is out for the season.
Yuto Nagatomo, who joined Bayern Munich this summer, suffered a metatarsal fracture during a preseason match at the end of July. Initially, it was reported that a full recovery would take two to three months. However, on the 5th of this month, Bayern Munich announced on their official website that he needed another metatarsal surgery, which was successfully completed.
Although Bayern Munich has not provided a specific return date for Yuto Nagatomo, the correspondent reports that he is expected to return no earlier than mid-January next year.
