Despite struggling offensively in the first half, Bayern demonstrated their formidable attacking prowess in the second half. Kane scored a hat-trick, while Coman also contributed a goal to extend the team’s lead.
After the match, Bayern’s head coach Kompany emphasized the importance of the substitutes: “We are fortunate to have such a group of substitutes who significantly improved the quality of the game when they came on. Coaches like Heynckes and Guardiola have also played important roles. For Flick, this match had special significance. But ultimately, whether for him or for us, the goal was to win the game.”
Regarding Kane’s hat-trick, Kompany commented: “To be honest, I never doubted that Kane would score goals in recent matches. I know his capabilities well. Whether in games or training sessions, he is always full of passion. Sometimes, people might overlook the effort Kane puts in for the team. But he always finds a way to score, and I believe he will continue to contribute goals for the team. That won’t change.”
