Match Overview
In the first game, VP dominated early on with an invulnerable Alchemist and a dominant Tinker, but a 35-minute teamfight miscalculation led to LGD’s comeback. LGD secured the match at the 41-minute Roshan fight.
In the second game, VP maintained pressure after securing an early advantage and won with their superior frontline and massive economic lead.
First Game
LGD played on the Radiant side, while VP played on the Dire.
Picks and positions: In the top lane, niu’s Beastmaster and Pyw’s Elder Titan faced Kiritych’s Tinker and Fng’s Earthshaker. Echozz’s Phoenix played against Squad1x’s Tinker in the middle, while Shiro’s Antimage and WhyouSm1Le’s Ancient Apparition clashed against Noticed’s Mars and Antares’ Bristleback in the bottom lane.
At the 6th minute, Ancient Apparition teleported to the top, assisting Beastmaster and Elder Titan in a tower dive against Bristleback. However, Earthshaker caught both with his cage, resulting in their deaths.
At 9 minutes, LGD gathered four players at the bottom lane to kill Earthshaker, but he survived with his Lotus Orb and Magic Stick. Phoenix chased too deeply and was killed. Mars arrived, using his Aegis to catch and kill both supports, Ancient Apparition and Elder Titan.
At the 15th minute, Beastmaster and Elder Titan combined to kill Earthshaker. Mars then caught Beastmaster, and Tinker and Tinker’s allies took out Beastmaster, Ancient Apparition, and Bristleback in the side lane.
At 22 minutes, a clash in the river saw Alchemist initiate, controlling Ancient Apparition. Tinker followed up, but Beastmaster’s roar killed him. Mars trapped two with his cage, and together with Alchemist, they killed Beastmaster and Elder Titan. Antimage and Phoenix entered the fight, but VP had no more spells, resulting in the deaths of Alchemist and Mars.
At 28 minutes, during the Roshan fight, Phoenix used his Black King Bar to charge into the enemy lineup, killing Bristleback. However, Antimage was killed by Mars’ Mjollnir. Antimage bought back and killed Mars, only to be assassinated by Tinker’s Auto Attack. Beastmaster and Phoenix took down Tinker. Bristleback and Mars bought back, forcing LGD to retreat as Alchemist claimed the Aegis.
At the 35th minute, VP attempted to push the middle tier two tower. Mars tried to initiate on Antimage with his Wind Walk but hesitated, allowing Antimage to activate his BKB. As a result, Alchemist was caught by Ancient Apparition’s roots. Beastmaster flanked and killed Mars, and Earthshaker was hooked and killed. Alchemist retreated into the woods and was killed. LGD counter-attacked, pushing down a tier and a half.
At the 41st minute, Roshan fight: Alchemist initiated and killed Ancient Apparition, but couldn’t damage Phoenix and was killed by Beastmaster’s roar. Mars was also left behind and killed. Antimage claimed the Aegis.
At the 43rd minute, a refreshed Beastmaster jumped and roared two enemies, killing Earthshaker. LGD destroyed all three barracks. At the 44th minute, Alchemist and Tinker were killed near the fountain, securing LGD’s victory.
Second Game
LGD remained on the Radiant side, and VP stayed on the Dire.
For lanes, Doom and Harbinger faced off against Pangolier and Elder Titan in the top, while Dragon Knight was against Phoenix in the middle, and Vengeful Spirit and Phoenix faced off against Abaddon and Rubick in the bottom.
At the 8th minute, Doom solo-killed Pangolier, but was later killed by Phoenix and Elder Titan. Both Phoenix and Harbinger joined the fight, but they were unable to contribute and were also killed.
At the 16th minute, Dragon Knight and Harbinger initiated on Phoenix in the river but failed to kill him, resulting in Dragon Knight’s death. VP followed up, climbing the high ground. Doom couldn’t use his ultimate and was killed by Pangolier, followed by Harbinger.
At the 24th minute, during a fog collision, Doom was severely injured and couldn’t use his ultimate, allowing him to escape. Pangolier activated his BKB and charged, killing Vengeful Spirit and Harbinger.
At the 30th minute, Firecat was caught in the bottom lane, and Abaddon, accompanied by Pangolier, killed Doom. They then moved to the top lane, where Pangolier with the Aegis killed Vengeful Spirit and Harbinger. LGD’s frontline was powerless, and Vengeful Spirit and Phoenix bought back to die, with VP choosing to retreat after draining resources.
At the 39th minute, VP caught Harbinger in the bottom lane and then used Abaddon’s Gate to teleport to the top lane, killing Vengeful Spirit and Phoenix who were watching. VP charged onto the high ground, eliminating Dragon Knight and pushing down all three lanes.
At the 41st minute, VP pushed for the base, and LGD could not withstand the assault, losing the match.
