Post-match, Plopski and Jackinho shared their thoughts.
Jackinho: “This was a big event, we came all the way to Brazil to compete. The home crowd gave a lot of energy to the Brazilian teams, making it hard for us to face them. Whenever they won a round, the audience cheered them on, boosting their confidence. The rounds we lost in overtime were very tight, and the home crowd’s support helped the Brazilians seal the deal.”
Plopski: “We lacked experience in finishing matches. The team was also a bit nervous. I was a substitute here and hadn’t trained with the other players before, so it was tough. I was still playing in a new position, which made it uncomfortable for me. But I still think we performed well overall.”
