Brazilian Media: Hulk Plans Grand Beach Wedding with Niece of Ex-Wife

On November 23, according to Brazilian media Portal Leodias, Brazilian football star Hulk plans to marry Camila Angelo in December. The couple officially registered their marriage in 2020. Hulk was previously married to Camila’s aunt, Iran Angelo, for 12 years and has three children together: Ian, Thiago, and Alice. These three children are cousins to Camila.

In 2020, Hulk ended his 12-year marriage with Iran, and shortly after, announced the news of his registration with Camila, which surprised many people.

According to reports, the wedding is expected to take place on a beach in Paraíba State, but the specific date has not been finalized. In April 2022, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Zaya, and in June this year, they welcomed their second daughter, Aisha.

Currently, Hulk plays for Atlético Mineiro in Brazil, and the team is actively participating in the Copa Libertadores, with a chance to advance to the FIFA Club World Cup. If the team advances, it could mean that Hulk’s season will be extended, potentially delaying the wedding date.

Hulk and Camila’s relationship first came to light in December 2019, just five months after his divorce from Iran. It was reported that Hulk informed his family, including his children, about his relationship with Camila at the end of 2019. Hulk’s side issued a statement saying, “Hulk personally called Camila’s parents and brother to inform them of the news. Hulk decided to make the relationship public because he believed there was no reason to hide it. He wants to face everything with the utmost sincerity and avoid unfounded speculation and negative comments.”

Hulk’s career began in Portugal, where he played for Porto from 2008 to 2012, making 170 appearances and scoring 77 goals. During this period, he also helped the team win the Europa League and four Portuguese league championships. Later, Hulk moved to Russia to join Zenit St. Petersburg, and then to China. In 2021, Hulk returned to Brazil and joined Atlético Mineiro. From 2009 to 2021, Hulk represented the Brazilian national team in 49 matches, scoring 11 goals, and was part of the winning squad in the 2013 Confederations Cup.
