November 23 – Transfer expert Romano reports that Miami has finalized the deal with Mascherano and will officially announce his appointment as the new coach in the coming days.
Romano points out that all documents have been prepared, and Mascherano will sign a three-year contract, reuniting him with Messi. Former Leverkusen legend and former Argentine international Placente will take over from Mascherano as the head coach of Argentina U20.
