According to French media outlet RMC, on October 15, Beijing time, the second hearing for Kylian Mbappé’s wage and bonus dispute of 55 million euros with his former club Paris Saint-Germain will take place today. If mediation fails, the court may decide whether the payment should be made.
The report states that after listening to both sides’ arguments in mid-September, the French Professional Football League Committee hoped that PSG and Mbappé would continue mediation to find a compromise based on PSG’s clear arguments. However, the first hearing did not yield results.
It is understood that today’s joint appeal committee hearing should be the last hearing in this case. If mediation fails, the court will decide whether PSG should pay the aforementioned wages.
