This was because Mbappé had already decided not to renew his contract and would be leaving for Real Madrid on a free transfer.
L’Équipe reported that Ethan overheard this unfair treatment and broke down in tears in the dressing room. Upon learning about this, Kylian immediately confronted Nasser, leading to a heated argument between the two.
Following Mbappé’s departure this summer, Ethan Mbappé also chose to leave the club and joined Lille in the French Ligue 1. In the new season, Ethan has made three appearances for Lille and provided one assist. His current market value is estimated at 2 million euros.
