On July 1st, France will face Belgium in the Round of 16 of the European Championship.
Before the match, Pogba, a former French international, attended as a special guest and spoke to BFMTV: “I feel great, I’m very happy to be here to support my national team. We all know it’s a big match.”
“I wish everyone on the field the best of luck, as it’s a knockout game, and one loss means elimination. That’s why the fans’ support is even more crucial, you can see their passion, they’re cheering for the team, which is vital.”
Pogba believes that France has good reasons to win: “The match against Belgium won’t be easy; it will be a great game, and for the French team, this encounter will likely determine their destiny in the tournament.”
“But I’m not worried at all, because the players selected by the coaching staff are excellent, they have mental strength, they are determined, and they are full of fighting spirit. There are no easy games in the Euros, but I believe in the French team.”
