Newcastle United has officially announced the signing of Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos on July 1st.
The official statement reads:
Newcastle United is delighted to confirm the signing of Odysseas Vlachodimos.
The 30-year-old Greek international, a product of the Stuttgart academy, has previously played for Stuttgart, Panathinaikos, Benfica, and Nottingham Forest. During his time at Benfica, he won two Primeira Liga titles, two Portuguese Super Cups, and one International Champions Cup.
Vlachodimos brings extensive experience in continental and international football, having featured in 41 UEFA Champions League matches and earned 42 caps for the Greek national team.
