The Italian Serie A club Atlanta GA has officially announced the loan signing of Italian international Nicolo Zaniolo.
The 25-year-old Zaniolo spent last season on loan at Aston Villa from Galatasaray, making 40 appearances across all competitions and scoring 3 goals. At the end of the season, Villa did not exercise their option to buy him permanently.
According to media reports, Atlanta will pay a loan fee of €6 million to Galatasaray, with an option to buy for €15.5 million. Zaniolo will return to the Italian top flight after a year and a half’s absence.
