On July 15th, following Argentina’s victory in the Copa America, coach Lionel Scaloni expressed his feelings of “double happiness” due to both his team’s success in the Copa America and Spain’s triumph in the Euros.
In 2017, Scaloni obtained his UEFA coaching license in Spain, where he was taught by current Spanish national team coach Luis de la Fuente, and his wife is also Spanish. Regarding this, Scaloni stated: “I am very happy because Spain also won. It was a great Sunday. My family is Spanish, I am happy because I have a special bond with this country, and most importantly, I know the coach.”
