Following recent comments from Kvaratskhelia’s agent that the player wishes to leave, Napoli has issued an official statement addressing the player’s desire for a transfer.
The club’s statement reads:
We would like to remind Kvaratskhelia that he has three years remaining on his contract with the club, until June 2027. We have no intention of selling the player. While a player is under contract, it is not the agent’s right to unilaterally decide where he plays; the club holds that authority.
