According to Italian media outlet football-italia today, Roma forward Andrea Belotti has accepted an offer from newly-promoted Serie A club Como for the upcoming season.
Belotti was previously loaned to Fiorentina from Roma, where he scored three goals in 15 appearances. Upon his return to Rome, he had hoped for a permanent move to Fiorentina, but the club turned its attention elsewhere. After a few days of deliberation, Belotti decided to accept Como’s offer, with a transfer fee of €5 million.
Belotti joined Roma as a free agent from Torino in 2022 and managed to score only 10 goals in 68 matches for the Giallorossi. Como, under the guidance of Fabregas, finished second in Serie B last season to secure their promotion to Italy’s top flight.
